Virginia team Wins International Grand Prize
The R.E.A.D.E.R. L.E.A.D.E.R.S. from Cople Elementary School in Westmoreland County brought home the Grand Prize at the 2011 International Conference. The team, coached by Andrew Woodrow and Anne Evans, won the title in the Junior Division of the Community Problem Solving (CmPS) competition.
The R.E.A.D.E.R. L.E.A.D.E.R.S took on the challenge of "making reading super fun so that Cople Elementary students can dream, imagine, love, and experience the joy of reading.
