G7 We are a “throw away society” and we tend to want to “worry about things tomorrow”. Yet, our planet is “sick” and we need to do something about it now. Our county can to be part of the green solution. Because we wanted to be part of the “green” solution, we formed G7--Gregarious Girls Going Green and Giving Great Green tips. We think residents may not understand how to incorporate green ways into their daily lives. Therefore, our mission is to share easy inexpensive green tips with Westmoreland County residents so they can reduce their environmental footprint.

Funds for the Future Most students aspire to further their education after high school. However, once they catch a glimpse of the price tag that comes with the education, they begin to see their dreams fade away. To cope with this cost, students need to take advantage of scholarships and grants as well as broaden their knowledge of financial aid options. Therefore, “Funds for the Future” was formed to assist students with finding possible solutions to the financial woes associated with continuing their education whether the plans include college or technical training. Preparing early for future educational goals is essential.

T. E. A. M. F. I. T.
Feel the burn! T.E.A.M. F.I.T. is here to improve student fitness and wellness at Cople Elementary. It is known that over time the health of children has decreased. T.E.A.M. F.I.T. has shown Cople's students fun ways to get exercise, tasty alternatives to their normal snack routing, and given opportunities to exercise that they normally would not have. Competing against an unhealthy lifestyle is tough, but we think it is important that T.E.A.M. F.I.T. wins. Remember, "We can all BE FIT!"
