| The city of Norfolk has granted permission for short-term parking in the Harrison Opera House lot at the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Llewellyn, if space is available. You must remain with your car, van, or bus in order to avoid getting a ticket. This arrangement will work best for those arriving in Norfolk a little early (around 1:30 p.m. or so) with no parking available at Maury. If you arrive earlier, go shopping, to a restaurant, or visit a tourist attraction. Be sure to look over Getting There, Parking, and Stuff. It will provide you with helpful information about your trip to and stay in Norfolk. Registration for the state bowl is all done in advance. When you arrive at Maury, each coach should pick up a registration envelope and an envelope with certificates. Registration materials are filed by coach rather than school. The following items are included in the registration envelopes: blank booklets, cover sheets, sealed packages of future scenes, name tags, presentation cover sheets, rules for the presentation competition, sample presentation scoresheet, ticket for presentation materials, schedule of events, and a replacement, changes, and corrections form.
